It makes sense to me in that the cause of the diabetes would probably be removed at that time.

The primary cause of diabetes in the US is high fructose corn syrup.

When a new drug is being tested for type 2 diabetes they need diabetic rats for testing. To get diabetic rats they give normal rats fructose to cause them to become diabetic. It's guaranteed to produce diabetic rats.

It'll give rats diabetes yet is considered safe by the FDA for humans.

Isn't our government wonderful.

BTW I did drop weight when I quit the high fructose corn syrup.

Or at least greatly lowered my consumption of it.

Your body will crave it for a short while.

It's true, that makes all the sense in the world, overweight is one of the leading causes of diabetes, and I know that people who lose that weight have stopped their diabetes, actually cured it...

Diabetes is caused by the inability of the pancreas to produce enough insulin to counter the sugar in the blood... the fat cells overwhelm the pancreas's ability to provide enough insulin to counter the glucose... once the body rids itself of those fat cells, the problem is solved and the diabetes is cured...
