At a time when we were after one of the most evil dictators of all time with the name Hussein------it is impossible to believe that Barry Obama, born Barrack Hussein Obama, did not recognize before his planned run for office that his name would be a factor in his campaign. Name recognition is often what it is all about. I.E. Governor Mark Warner of Virginia played upon the name recognition of Senator John Warner in a contest for the Senate seat held by John Warner. The first question that people ask was whether they were related. Of course they were not. As a political strategy by the Democrat Party ----it worked to bring in a candidate who was not a Virginian to run for the seat with a last name the same as that of the well-respected Senator John Warner. Mark Warner first appeared on the political scene in Virginia in the late 1980's after his graduation from Harvard. Originally from Indiana, he lived in Maryland---before wending his way through Harvard----after which he worked for Chris Dodd----made his money in Nextel and moved into Virginia, became the DNC State Party Chairman and managed Doug Wilders campaign for Governor of Virginia. Mark Warner has now announced he will run for Senator John Warner's seat as John Warner is now retiring. This is what happens with positive name recognition. Obama is faced with just the opposite--------he has name recognition that conjures up negative associations with the dictator Saddam Hussein of Iraq. It's simply a fact. mj
