I have been following CXX for several years now, buying on dips and holding long. The recent drilling greatly improves the potential of the C zone and they are now drilling deeper holes looking for the IOCG targets that they talked about several years ago. Canaccord and several other brokers in both the US and Canada are now covering them.
I also like TEM, the sister company with 10 million pounds in the ground and have been in and out of Xemplar for the past 2 years. I consider it a buy at $3+ and see they just did a small financing for $10 million at $3.00

HAT assay results - 11.9 Metres of 5.29 % U3O8 - WOW!

hathor.ca

HAT closed up $0.64 at $1.94 = 49% gain, with over 8.2 million shares traded! intraday high was $2.45!

well, maybe i was wrong to say that:
"what i find particularly troubling is HAT halting trading before the news release - they drew too much attention to it. comparing what they have to tell so far (activity of an unknown quantity, in apparently only 1 of 12 holes-to-date) vs other U companies with that type of news (i'm not saying all U companies there...), most of the others didn't halt trading. the risks associated with any U junior crying wolf to the market are never good, & are worse during a down phase. no need to prolong the unpleasant."

but, i still think it's better to be safe than sorry, particularly during market weakness. however, kudos to HAT for delivering.

i also wished that:
"hopefully this will all play out smoothly (in some form) for HAT & the junior U market."

the assay results a better than i'd hoped. i have another hope now - that it won't be limited to 1 hole of the current 24!

HAT stated that the first 11 holes basically drew blanks. hole 12 hit. i note that they now say 14 holes have been drilled ("Hathor has now completed in excess of 4,000 metres of diamond drilling in 14 of a planned 24 NQ-sized diamond drill holes."). i called HAT to ask about holes 13 & 14 & got voicemail (i bet they're drinking!) - hopefully i'll get a responce tomorrow.

DML is probably too big for this to have any real impact on their share price (at this stage), but this result can't hurt... ("Hathor's Midwest NE project is located in northern Saskatchewan's Athabasca Basin immediately adjacent to the Midwest property of AREVA Resources Canada Inc., Denison Mines Corp. and OURD Canada Co. Ltd. There, subject to regulatory approvals, mine site construction is slated to begin in mid-2009 and open-pit mining of a shallow (depth of about 200 metres) orebody is planned for early 2010. Points North Landing, a regional service centre to the region, is located about eight kilometres from Hathor's Midwest NE property and the modern, AREVA-operated McClean Lake uranium mill facilities are located approximately 10 kilometres to the east.")

my biggest hope now is if more holes hit... that it would spark the junior U's!!!
