Very possibly, but your mistake was to take on city hall single handedly... it requires heavy machinery, certainly more than one person standing on the street corner collecting signatures... you can be passionate about your purpose, but you also need to use your head... taking on the police head first is never a good idea under any circumstance, you can't stand there and lecture to them, that's not even appropriate...
