I was forced out of an opportunity to gather hundreds of signatures. This situation repeated itself many many times during the limited time frame to gather the signatures. Statewide, the police attempted to thwart this drive. Not all police. In many locations they made sure there was somewhere signatures could be collected without blocking traffic. The attempts to stop us failed. We turned in nearly ninety thousand signatures more than required. This could be done on a nationwide basis .. if there were a direct method available. more than 70% of voters would allow a doctor to write a prescription for marijuana.
