We have a Westlake Village office. If I had to commute to the Westside, I would not move out there. I don't see the value in spending 3 hours a day on the freeway, even if you have a nice house to come home to.

I agree that Palisades and the other areas you mention reflect true market conditions. But I also know that many people stretch to the limit to live there, and if the economy really goes in the crapper, you will have some job losses and foreclosures.
