It was a small amount.

I am putting cash into silver through SLV, but expect I will take the plunge into physical silver. Already am overweight gold, though it seems impossible to own enough given the reflation B. is intent on giving the economy via increased liquidity. The exactly wrong medicine, IMO.

I am shorting comm'l real estate via SRS. I think that game has just begun. I have about an 8 month to 1 year investment horizon it. It is a leveraged short, theoretically 2x, but it never seems to meet target, but that's OK with me.

I'm not shorting residential RE; I think that game is over, or over enough not to interest me.

I am shorting financials via SKF, another 2x leveraged ETF. A long game, also a year, plus, but full of promise.

I love gold. It has been very, very good to me. Hold it via IAU.

I have recently discovered a huge short position in silver, elephant size, so I am getting into silver since only banks and investment houses and others exposed to subprime can finance such a huge position, and it will absolutely unwind, sending silver to the moon. I am therefore buying SLV.

Also holding the Yen and Swiss Fr. via FXY and FXF, both as insurance/crash protection. Both have done an admirable job of hedging against the mud sucking dollar.

Hold WNR, a refiner which I think will go to 40-50, perhaps this year.

I am looking for an oil and gas play, though I've started a small position in PWE because its distributions are so very, very nice. It seem to be able to continue them into the future, so it is a cash cow.

Got some US Treasury funds.

Sold off my agriculturals play, DBA, for a 45% gain on the notion that aggies will correct, at which point I will re-enter.

C'est tout.
