Excellent article from African locals! Yes, the West does NOT want to pay for what they get in Africa, or any other 3rd world countries. In colonial history, they did NOT need to. They robbed all kinds of wealth and commodities from 3rd world countries, leaving only a mess behind. What China does in Africa is fundamentally different. China gave billion of $ in cash and materials with little or NO string attached to African people. Even when China themselves were in great economic difficulties in 1960s, China still put interest of African countries ahead of their own people. I have two friends, both of their fathers were died in Africa due to commutable disease when they there helping to build Tan-Zan railroad.
