What decent people do is what we are talking about. What decent people do as indivduals, as a family member, as a member of a community, or a nation.

It should all be the same.

It is not a practical situation to give a passerby a cholesterol test, but why would anyone vote against a health care system that defines proper health care that includes a cholesterol test.

I can see you voting for it with the proviso that if the money is there and that if it is not there we should find a way to get it.

But I can't see the rationale to vote against the proposal because some people are in some way not deserving.
