My main reason for suspecting China is the extremely concentrated nature of the short positions in that over 50% of the net shorts are held by only 4 traders.According to my information there are over 300 million ounces of silver sold short.That is more silver than is in existence that is sold short.You are probably correct in that large investment bank are the actual sellers of the contracts I think China is behind the selling.They are the only entity with the capability to be so without encuring the massive risk due to their ability to present physical if they were to need to.
