My daughter gets her license later this year... she will be 16 in the fall.. When she was Coconut's age we were looking at this in a toy store rokenbok.com ... She said... you know daddy ... That looks like a lot of fun.. (I was sold already.. just needed an excuse :O) I confess that I must have spent about 1500-2000 bucks on this stuff.. it is fun.. so far those are the only vehicles outside of an ATV that she drives :O) She'll get her license because I think it's important.. and I'll say no car though... then a little later as common sense is demonstrated I will invariably set some difficult but obtainable targets for her which will merit a car.. We both already know the play... :O) My son loves it too... so we are getting lots of mileage ... he is only 8.. The Black Swan
