Rambi, I don't have antipathy toward you. But I continue to think your post and the followup comments to it were interesting and entertaining. As to my being blind to the sarcasm of your post, perhaps you should have pointed out their blindness to the View from Left of Center posters who followed up with the "idiocracy" and "emotional politics" posts. When I spoke of the elitist people forgetting what comprises a significant part of America, I was pointing out the blindness of that particular POV. I figure that may have been your intent, but I don't think they got it. (and I must add that this was NOT ghetto, but the butts in questions WERE black.) Figures, theres lots of black folks in rural E TX. But that doesn't fit in with the word picture you drew of overall, cowboy boot and hat wearing Texans loyal to Bush.
