That sounds alot like the Wall St Underground mailings I used to get up until a few years ago. A guy named Nick Guarino wrote them and they were all dooms day scenarios. The funny thing is, much of what he predicted has come to pass, albeit slower than he said it would- ie $100 barrel oil, housing crash, devaluation of the dollar, soaring gold etc. One of the things he recommended at the time was to hold Euros, not dollars, and gold. Since gold is physically harder to keep, I went with euros because I agreed with a lot of the things he was saying, although not enough to part with the $5K he wanted me to pay for his commodities trading program!
