What else do you need to know except that with 4% of the world population and ~24% of the world's consumption we are tremendously vulnerable. ------------------------------------------------------- And that we're piglets? Yeah, there's that. But the other part is opportunity. With the right leadership and an all out effort we could really change the status quo. It's a hell of an opportunity to lead the world in a new direction, with new industries and jobs. Yes, but that requires a bit of sacrifice. I am not sure were up to it. You'll have people like Harris claiming there is no shortage of oil and its a liberal plot to make us look poorer while Tim will complain that the markets will take care of everything and to stop trying 'to fix' things; then there is Topcat who will be looking for spelling mistakes. This country doesn't have the best of gene pools with which to work.
