Do you think people knowledgeable about a problem or an industry or service should be excluded from the discussion and input to Congress?

Obama said they won't have all the chairs or seats, not that they wouldn't even be at the table.

In his campaign he set the standard that his campaign will not and does not take any PAC or lobbyist money.

It is about the money that has at least the appearance of seeking influence. Witness what happened with the 2005 bankruptcy bill.

Reducing the influence of lobbyists is important. Cutting them out is not only impossible, but would be counterproductive.
