Maliki is meeting with Ahmadinejad right now. If he can meet with him, why can't we?

Obama is 100% right. Bush's failure to meet with those he doesn't agree (including those in his own country) with has cost us mightily. The World Bank official who projects the Iraq debacle will cost 3 trillion dollars and bankrupt the USA may exaggerate a bit, but not much.

Notice Bushies never made any progress with North Korea until they finally met with them, without pre-conditions.

The rightwing hypcrisy on this issue is glaring. Of course we need to meet with our enemies. It's common sense smarts. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
