I keep telling myself I could save tons of time by restricting my reading to Doug Noland's CBB once a week. He gives a great summary of the week's juicy stuff. Maybe that, Don Coxe's call and a few other things (Hussman, etc) would be enough. It's the 80/20 rule. You usually can get 80% of the benefit with 20% of the work.

This financial train wreck is distracting me from my day job - really starting to interfere with my productivity. It's not just the time spent reading about it. It's having your mental focus and excitement focused on something totally unrelated to your work.

But what are you supposed to do when your government seems to be doing its best to wipe out your life savings?
