If you can't watch videos online, it could have several causes:

1. Your computer doesn't have the processing speed needed.

2. Your internet connection isn't fast enough.

3. You've got so many other processes running, which might include spyware and malware you aren't aware of, that your processor can't handle the video stream.

4. Some software you have running to protect your computer sees the video stream as a threat.

5. You don't have the software installed to handle the incoming video stream.

Try different browsers on YouTube. - do they ALL fail? If so, it's not them.
