I cared about debunking Dan's 1998-99 myth, along with giving some buffer space around it. Not every 10K has the same data, but feel free to go ahead and look up the rest. The important piece - R&D expenditure - has increased more or less continuously through the entire time horizon. The bottom line is that there is no correlation to back up Dan's claim that Intel has decreased their investments in new technology at the same time that AMD has had weaknesses in their product line.

That's your answer for everything on the balance sheet, Petz. What - are you going to say the same thing about R&D costs? Why not throw the entire SEC document into question, and have AMD add it to the lawsuit?
