The EU president has already "condemned Israel's attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as disproportionate and violating international law."

And nowhere have I read Hamas, which is now the de facto State in Gaza, denounced for unlawfully mingling with the civilian population and not openly bearing arms and wearing colors as belligerents. That is a very bright-line war crime, unlike "disproportionate force." Hamas fighters, and Gaza citizenry, aren't privileged if they violate the laws of war. I'm not holding my breath that someone will hold them to account.
