We've got an election coming up. I doubt this will stand. The (D)'s will promise Boeing a reversal (screw Alabama!), but what will McCain do?

At any rate it's costing American workers jobs. Not good going into a recession.

That's right. And a lot of the work is not done in WA state......I think Kansas and S. CA would have played a big role. However, what's most surprising about the decision is that they weren't prepared to fend off complaints. It doesn't make sense.......why would they expect everyone would be happy with their decision? Even Airbus didn't think they would get the contract.

Maybe some jobs, but a lot of work will be done in the US.
