Vet.Change the word producer to processor of other countries mined ore and recycled silver in your post.
This is not about $6b US dollars.That is pocket change.And the theory is that the Chinese intend to convert to a silver backed currency at some point in time for some economic reason or another.Being as the silver market is so small and the amount of money is so small in the grand scheme of things who would you think is behind it.Do you really think the largest and wealthiest investment banking firms on the planet would be interested in shorting $6b in one of the smallest markets in the futures markets.Keep in mind that these positions and very concentrated.I personally don't know..
I learned a long time ago vet that what you or I would think was the thing to do in any particular situation is not what another person would think right
Do you think the man that sold his gold @ 300 and silver @ 4.75 thought he was doing the right thing.I don't.But I'm glad he did.
