I've read the Farrakhan questions to Obama as solely about Jewish support for his candidacy. Media types like Russert can try to create a wedge question--say one thing and alienate black voters, say another and alienate Jewish voters. So the wedge question makes a candidate squirm. Good for television.

And it works for Republican critics of Obama because they know they've lost the black vote and can only hope to lose as little of the Jewish vote as possible.

More reprehensible political campaign crap which has nothing to do with electing a capable president.

Seems like everyone wants a big fight over this-{Farrakhan}... I mean what's not to understand here?

I think, that to the subset of humanity who see Others as scary, guys like Farrakhan are Really Scary Others.

They badly need to see our alpha males kick the Really Scary Others' collective behind.
