<share, flexible, endurance> Good words for me today. Thank you. Had a wonderful time this past weekend. Won some, but mostly lost. I have won most times I have gone over the past year, so I guess the law of averages finally caught up with me. I was flexible and did share my proceeds gained and had great endurance and felt really well. I was very focused on what was directly in front of me. My husband was the first to retire early each night and regretted he did not bring his golf clubs as Saturday and Sunday were simply beautiful days for golf, though Sunday the winds were stronger. He has played the course before this past year and says it is really great and very well designed. He did say it was a restful weekend for him though while the kids and I stayed up late and slept very late! I napped on the drive home. Low and behold, I did win one of the credit cards at the dinner, dance with a lively band, fashion show and drawing for same. Hotel employees were models for the show. The fifty thousand dollar cards turned out to be fifty two hundred dollar ones and I shopped Sunday in the dress and accessory shop. Spent the whole amount on accessories to give to family members when I decide whether they will be birthday or Christmas gifts for them, but didn't leave out myself either. <gg> This shop gifted me with a beautiful jeweled box with a scented candle in it. The hotel also gave me a card for an extra twenty percent off my purchases, so I was able to add a couple more gifts with that to almost total out within a couple dollars the entire credit amount. My DIL went with me to shop so she received a sterling silver bracelet she liked. All of the shops gave extra gifts away just for coming in to look, but we didn't visit all of them as we were getting ready to leave for the drive back home. All in all everyone enjoyed themselves and it was such a nice get away for us. The addition to the hotel is simply beautiful and the employees go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys themselves for their stay. We had connecting rooms so it was very convenient for us to be so close together. We have decided we want to this another time within the next couple of months. We met some nice folks from Texas and knew some that live here, along with some delightful young folks from Canada who were having a great time visiting our Southern USA. Now it is back to the daily grind at home and business goings on, but surely happy for the memories we made with two of our youngsters.
