I've talked to people who've done their undergraduate at a state school, Mich. State example, and graduate at Harvard.

They said Harvard just had a reputation and relied on the olden days when they had one of the best libraries, but with the internet, that advantage has been removed, but the snob appeal has not.

ivy league schools are overrated.....i know many ivy graduates that had TA's teach most of their courses. You can have a hard course anywhere.Next time look at your doctor's diploma from college and you'll find the majority of them attended "non"-IVY schools.
