Looks to me like the pilot should have aborted that one when he was still on approach and the wind had him at a 30 degree angle to the runway.

I've actually had a couple of landings like that. On the last one, the pilot told us we almost died, I said, I know and he said, no I mean We ALMOST died..I think he was scared shi%*#&&.
