Or, we have a lot of room to save, lot of fat to cut before you get to muscle... True, as I've said that many times. Problem and opportunity. But if we are so myopic that we don't move then this thing could consume us... it's already transferring our wealth overseas and stretching our working class. The solution isn't an over night solution, it will take decades of hard work and investment. The downside is huge. It could be a slow steady burn, worse and worse every year, or it could be a sudden geopolitical shock. Our economy is in the cross hairs. All you have to do is look around during tomorrow mornings commute to understand. Can't turn that shit around on a dime.
