Bob -

Clearly it will be an issue. You're not the only one who will make the stretch to make it an issue.

As for teflon, I'm sure that works only for ardent supporters. People who are on the fence or who support Obama but may still be willing to change their minds may well be influenced by these types of invented concerns.

Too bad we cannot keep religion out of politics anymore than we can public places.. Religion and government are not to be combined but we keep making it central to choices.

I remember the statement which was propagated because of it's effect that with George Bush we had God in the White House.

Higher Power is fine but in the overview most of what we are fighting now is my God being right, yours being wrong..

Infidels vs. the chosen.. Too much for me.
