Seems to me that move serves two purposes for Limbaugh, et al.

A vote for Clinton pushes the Dem primary stuff further down the road, increases the prospects of division as long as possible and as damaging as possible. And increases the likelihood they'll get Clinton rather than Obama in the general, which they prefer.

But, secondarily, it possibly delays McCain's coronation, which they would like to see happen as well.

Now, I fail to see how the party will implode but they are emphatically endorsing Hillary so this will happen.

If Obama wins the pledged delegates but Hillary wins the nomination because of the super delegates, I can imagine a very ugly convention. I dont know if the party will implode, but it would leave some scars. Just one likely outcome....African American turnout would probably drop dramatically in November.
