None of this is even controversial. None of your statements are correct. So lapsed Catholics have nothing at all to do with being Catholic the minute they lose their faith, secular Jews don't exist, emigrants to anywhere instantly lose their previous ethnic identities? You think human beings are like Etch-a-Sketches, just shake and everything that was drawn before goes away in an instant. Self-identity doesn't exist, worldview and values and culture don't matter, religious beliefs leave no more imprint than yesterday's pants. Religious and ethnic identity is vastly more complicated than you seem to think, as you sit there and preach in your ignorance. Then you have the audacity to declare that your ignorance has been proven correct, everything is settled. The word is callow.
