Rich buyers did not have Dubai, Singapore and a myriad of other choices in the 1930s, it is a different world.

Not picking a fight, just saying you could buy Brownstones in New York in the 1930s for pennies on the dollar. We are all on this thread to share ideas, expand knowledge and protect our families and finance.

Time will tell.

Truly, I think none of us can truly 'get it', let me be the first to admit that. We are going through a period never seen in the history of man. Derivatives, global bubbles, fiat not backed in gold this time around, the list goes on. Non of us truly can say how this all ends up. The world is a very different place then it was in the 1930s, America has much, much more competition in all facets of business and finance. Let us all hope not as bad as it can be considering the problems we face.
