I'd say gold is definitely a hard currency. As in hard to buy anything with it down at the local WalMart. Or as in if you have the physical stuff and actually need it to make a purchase, you're going to have a hard time staying alive long enough to matter.

At this point, the commodities are all one trade. Gold, Oil, Wheat, Corn, Soybeans all down together.....my guess is tomorrow's EIA report will be bearish and will get sold (for a change, it's been bearish for the last month and still gets bought....until it doesn't).
