I'm not really talking about the stock market, just my monthly bills. I am replacing expensive goods with cheaper alternatives. The only 2 things I can't replace are health insurance and gasoline prices. Everything else is cheaper, but not without some effort and due diligence. I'm still working on my homeowners insurance. It will take a few months before traveller's offers new rates for people with high credit scores. I figure my rates will go down 20% based on the discounts that were made available in other states.

I suspect your wife has better taste than I do. (We don't want people with good taste; we want people who taste good.)

Buy beer at Costco.

Not too worry Ben as some how, some way, Mish will spin your experiences into deflation and refute it all in his blog<g>
