This is a close up of the Software HOLDR's which did indeed make a new low today. This pretty much mirrors my thoughts on the broad tech indices and is counted from the fall highs, very simple:

Well now Allan, something did happen today, just nothing significant enough for us all to decide what the market is doing. We had a nice sell off, and then a nice rally. Should the rally continue tomorrow, who knows.

I agree in that, in this chart nothing has changed. The move up from January has not confirmed anything. Are we now in a 3 up or are we in a 3 down. Who knows. The problem is, that by the time you know, the market has made quite a move.

I have not committe any real dollars to anything. Just making intraday trades to keep me from jumping off my roof.

I dunno jj. I don't think anything happened today. This has been going sideways since 2nd week of January.

What I mean is that, for someone trading weeks/months, nothing happened today. There is no evidence in the price action, that the trend has turned.
