The experience in other advanced countries are not theories. They are hard facts based on hard numbers. Do you prefer anecdotes to large population statistics?

I have. I found the government issued health care far superior to even my excellent health care here- and it came without paperwork, without bills, without headaches about which insurance company would cover, and the birthday rule, and deductibles. It was, in fact, wonderful, and I miss it, even though we have Rolls Royce coverage- the problem is I was forced to take more coverage, and now I have a co-insurance problem- where crappy insurance has to be billed before the other insurance will pay anything. Nightmare? Yes. Paperwork? Out the ying yang. Thousands of dollars for the privilege of a giant headache and hours of extra work? Yes.

I've just quit going to the doctor- but there are a couple of things I'm worried about. Gee I hope they don't kill me.
