It didn't put her over the edge, I don't think. In Texas, she kept her strength in her core constituencies, the groups where Obama had made inroads in Wisconsin, Virginia, etc.

But the constant drumbeat from the talk jocks the next eight months will keep Hillary's negatives high with potential crossover voters in the November ballot. That coupled with the new voters who would have turned out for Obama but aren't motivated to do so for Hillary, is probably all McCain needs to win with 51-53% of the vote.
