t sure won't end the housing bust anytime soon or stimulate a burst in new home construction till perhaps the middle of the next decade but will probably help stimulate business activity almost everywhere else and support existing home values soon..

$600 rebate checks will do nothing to support business activity

polls i've read is that stimulus is only going to pay down existing debt

housing has to find its bottom and that is a function of affordability vis-à-vis valuation
