I think you need something stronger than lattes. I will share my chardonnay. That is really dreadful, Allen, and I hope it gets straightened out very, very quickly. This is definitely one of the reasons I will seriously consider the Dem. plans. It's just too huge and unwieldy as is- even when you have the damn coverage.

If it doesn't get straightened out you should talk to a lawyer, there are guys who specialize in that sort of thing, with the idea being they collect their fee from the insurance company.

I'm so sorry. That's awful news. I'm sure you can straighten it out (I hope you can straighten it out), but should you have to waste your life doing that? I say no. I have a problem with dual insurance right now, that may leave me having to pay a large bill for an ultrasound, pathology read, and doctor's visit- nothing like yours- but still, annoying. I faxed everyone involved paperwork, I spent about 2 hours on the phone, and now I wait to see how it all shakes out. Blech.

I've spent all my money on lattes." I am glad you put that remark in because so many people talk about people spending their money frivolously, on trips and SBUX, instead of health insurance.. That's as big a myth as the "Cadillac driving welfare queen" that was thrown out during the Reagan years and it was just BS. But it stuck and pisses me off still.. Sure there was probably picky BS abuses but they were chump change compared to the corporate/government, so-called "legitimate", welfare scams that go on to this day.. Some of here which here might be involved in.. Just kidding of course. But really I am not either. :) So I will talk about a once non-insurance holder that went "bare" for a long while while he was getting his business going.. My brother, my dear, hard working brother that was starting up his mill, which took all his gd money, no Hawaii trips or SBUX didn't take his money, his endevour did.. He was lucky, he made it through those years and is very successful now. Providing a helluva GOOD payroll, btw. But many weren't as lucky as he.... So how many of those fell through the cracks, but could have done as much as my bro but fell into hard times because of no fault of their own. And how many of these "whiners" about UHC here on SI have done the same.. Not many, I bet.. Well good luck Allen, I hate to hear of what you are going through.. And then on top of that, you have to worry about the gd insurance.. I am so sorry.. That should NEVER happen to any good productive citizen of this country, like yourself.. Take care, c
