As the daughter, sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, aunt, niece, etc., of actual health care providers, I can tell you that they want to do is set their own prices based on the free market.

I don't doubt it. However, the doctors at my local place, 6 in a shared practice, would much prefer the "everyone with Medicare" plan if supplemental insurance were available. Thus, medicare provides a very high floor, supplemental is available for extra expenses.

Their constant complaint, all the way through each time I get my annual physicals, is the paperwork. It simply costs them a great deal of money. Their claim is that their costs would decrease dramatically if the paperwork were manageable and thus the costs to the patient/consumer.

Looks good to me.
