Here is the illustration: Right inside my room, as I type this, there is a guy sweeping the room, just after the lady swept. I opened the office and tried to work quietly. To produce a "service" to me they come to sweep the room. She swept. Then he came behind and wept again. Then he took a wet flannel and lift every paper on my desk and cleaned. Then he lifted the phone and the lap top. The he left. I arrive at home there is a guard. He comes opens the door and takes my bag, then he hand over to the cleaning lady. Opens the gate. (I would be lousy slave master I can tell you.) He's back now with wet cloth to clean the floor! Funny thing is: when I finish lunch and am ready to come he peons the car door. But form behind the car, I come from the front and I am blocked!! When I need real work: no water in the weekend, he doesn’t know to switch the water pump on. By the way in Africa you need a pump to fill your water reservoir. That;s what I mean shirtless are not productuive. They are paid to disturb. It is a social obligation for society to pay them for that.
