It's my hope that you soften that position before its over, though I understand your point. The "change & hope" parade might just roll right into the White House and we can survive it(not so sure about the grandkids)...;>) A politician running on change is about as unique as beach sand and the idea that the greatest country on earth is grasping for "HOPE" like some third world hell hole is a mindset that boggles my imagination. I'm not going to help any of that come to pass by staying home.

There is always the 'make lemonaide' principle.... (Welcome the opportunity for the 'other side' to over-reach themselves and screw things up... and then reload for the next opportunity.) Remember --- like I've said before --- it's a world of hurt waiting for WHOMEVER is unlucky enough to win the WH this year. The problems left behind by Bush are huge... and whomever wins will likely get tarred with a lot of the blame as things continue to 'go south' for a while....

IMHO you would be making a big mistake. One has to elect in life from the options available. These are your present options. Both HIllary and Obama will SUBSTANTIALLY raise your taxes, raise the cost of doing business through regulation, attempt to restrict if not eliminate handguns and possibly worse, probably cause interest rates to rise significantly and economy to ultimately slow down. ie raise the MISERY INDEX. On top of that they will likely severely weaken our military and intelligence services and allow the border to run amuck. Like you McCain was not my first choice but even the WORSE of McCain is far better for America then the best of the other two candidates. jdn
