I don't think you would like to live in a place like here. Too much hassle. The people who most settle in such places are Lebanese.

I got long time in Nigeria mostly because I had the life support system from Siemens behind me that supported me and enabled me to stay that long.

There are many other choices before one consider a west African country. If I had to choose my first choice would be Hua Hin in the Gulf of Thailand, west side. Much less hassle. Better weather. Better infrastructure.

But even then I would need a small flat in Singapore to go once in a while not to forget what civilization is.
Here I plan to go out in June October and December and leave finally February 2008.

My wife is coming in two weeks for the first time toi see a real African country. She only knows from my story. She says my paranoyas are all related to the years I have been in Africa.

I still want Experiment to come for a week or so, but I doubt she would take the offer. Perhaps if I offer a stopover in Paris she would take.
