I think I covered the other questions indirectly. Since we don't know exactly what the trends will be in the future we don't know how much there is or will be "a permanent shift in the supply/demand equation". OK I didn't respond even indirectly to "Do you understand the transfer of wealth out of the country as a result of $100 oil?" I think categorizing anything we buy as part of international trade as a transfer of wealth out of the country shows some serious misunderstanding of international trade.
