ehhh, didn't you just call on spirit to represent your moral standard, and that would be?

That means nothing. Companies are entities, not people. Companies work within a well defined set of rules. If they break the law, they should be fined and prosecuted.

What's so hard to understand?

ethical and moral standard for a large corporation who is making huge profits

The highest ethical and moral standard for any corporation is to generate the highest possible profits while minimizing expenses, including taxation, thus benefiting both shareholders with higher stock prices and dividends and employees with more generous salary and benefit packages.

You claim to have taken economic courses at a university level. Where did you study? The Karl Marx School of Soviet Socialist Stupidity? Can't hardly blame you, though, as the level of gross economic illiteracy in this country is shocking and portends ill for the future (witness the all the statist clowns infesting DC).

And, BTW, are you aware that the US has a very high level of corporate taxation compared to the rest of the world? If I were a CEO, I'd consider it my fiduciary duty to explore moving to a more business friendly offshore locale...
