If I recall correctly, Kerry was also trying to run a "positive" campaign and stick to the issues. That fiasco resulted in eight years of " One that should not be named".

The crowning craziness was when the GOP was successful at portraying the disabled and maimed Viet vet,Max Cleland of Georgia, as a traitor for not supporting Bush's Iraq policy.

Dirty tricks win elections.............choir boys lose elections.

It's been my thought for many years that politics involves a mastery of the art of illusion. The best liars always win.

Truth being told........I don't see Obama as any different. He is spinning his game in a different light but it's still the same game.

We'd need a total sea change in DC to change the system. Obama knows that..........does everyone else?

I want my politicians who are representing me to be as good as or better than the GOP........and that means I want my guy or gal to know how to beat them.

Choir boys need to stay out of Washington.

It's a dangerous world.
