Wharf,

WE are going to bail out the banks, just like we bailed out the S and L idiots. This time, though, the well is overextended and it is all funny-depreciating-dollars.

There seem to be no consequences for criminality or stupidity in this country if you do it big enough. The banks are "too big to fail", like LTCM.

We should have bought second homes with vapor dollars also.

You are right, of course, there was a huge bubble. $50 per
sq. foot is very cheap, though, regardless. If the house
is in good shape. Ben will inflate, is inflating, or we get
Great Depression take 2 as housing prices fall 20% across the
nation.
