I really have no idea why. I know that much of the anti-Hillary venom I hear from Republicans and independents comes from men, but that is just my limited anecdotal experience.

When we live in a political culture that values defining your opponent in negative terms and tearing them down, expect a lot of hate and loathing for every candidate, to one degree or another.

It is part of our sick political culture.

"It makes me think of a bunch of children who get mad and grab up their marbles and refuse to play anymore. As much as I hate to say it, so far the voices I hear loudest are those of men."

I think that is very accurate. If Clinton is the nominee, I will refuse to play anymore.

"Since the tide turned a little in Hillary's favor, I've read several variations of posts on this site along the lines of 'I used to admire Hillary, but now I don't know if I can even vote for her'."

Geez Kate - I can truly say I never have admired Hillary!
