I don't deny that insurance coverage is a problem for many people. And I don't deny that single-payer and/or single-provider would be A solution.

What I deny is that it is the best solution.

People like having choices. Choices are good. Choices encourage innovation, and excellence.

Federal employees, the ones who really write the laws, have choices. You could argue that they have single payer, but what they really have is really good group coverage, and they certainly don't opt for single-provider.

AARP is another good group.

States have groups.

Professions have groups.
