Well, considering she was making about $123,000 in 2006, and about $349,000+ in 2007....plus together they made over $900,000 in 2006....I don't imagine she will want to keep that stupid milarky up.

Their tax return is one the web someplace. I saw it the other night....

Here's some numbers on the Obama's: From wiki:
According to the couple’s 2006 income tax return, Michelle's salary was $273,618 from the University of Chicago Hospitals, while he had a salary of $157,082 from the United States Senate. The total Obama income, however, was $991,296 including $51,200 she earned as a member of the board of directors of TreeHouse Foods, plus investments and royalties from his books.[23]

And this:

What she doesn’t mention is that the helping industry has treated her pretty well. In 2006, the Chicago Tribune reported that Mrs. Obama’s compensation at the University of Chicago Hospital, where she is a vice president for community affairs, jumped from $121,910 in 2004, just before her husband was elected to the Senate, to $316,962 in 2005, just after he took office.

And that does not count the money Mrs. Obama receives from serving on corporate boards. She would have been O.K. even without Jack’s magic beans.

Obamas Aren't Millionaires —This Year
Posted Apr 17, 07 9:09 AM CST in Politics

(newser) – Barack and Michelle Obama unveiled their 2006 federal income tax return yesterday, offering a peek into the wallet of one of the least affluent presidential aspirants. The couple reported $983,826 in taxable income in 2006—a comedown from 2005's $1.6 million. • The pen, it seems, is more lucrative than Congress: Barack's book deals, though not as fruitful as last year, netted the Democrat a cushy $506,618 to augment his meager Senate salary ($157,082). Michelle pulled in her own six figures from her work at the University of Chicago hospitals, and the couple donated $60,307 to charity.
