Tell her to take it easy for a couple of weeks. Friends wife had the same operation and the day after she got out of the hospital went bar hopping on her motorcycle. Caused a lot of problems.

Prayer said for you daughter, sorry to hear she's got to have surgery. It's very eerie how spot on these words can be sometimes. We had a 30 drop in temp in the middle of the night. Wind was howling up a storm this morning. We don't have the temps that you have but with the wind chill we are sitting at 32 degrees which is mighty cold for us down here. I agree with your assessment of Al Gore!

So very young for that major surgery. My wife had the same thing when she was just 23, but it was necessary, as I'm sure it is for your daughter. Does she have children now? Don't recall your mentioning that.
